The institute has a very spacious well equipped and well maintained library with a large collection of titles on Engineering and other disciplines. It also have large nu of books, journals, periodicals and magazines on Engineering as well as other subjects. Both lending and reading room facilities are available separately to the students. Well organized reference books are separately maintained to meet the academic needs of the students and teachers alike.

BRMIIT Computer Centre
The computer centre at BRM IIT has adequate number of apple computers is unique. With Internet and Intranet facilities, the Centre is open throughout the week and provides IT related resources to students and staff alike. All the members of the Institute share and interact through the Intranet, which has emerged as a vibrant medium of communication. The Centre is also equipped to carry out need-based research and consultancy assignments.

BRMIIT Language Lab
The Language Department focuses on developing the ability of the student to communicate in a second language. The department, through intensive English Programmes, takes initiatives at bringing developmental approaches to language learning It offers a Bridge Course Programme (BCP) which helps the students to learn vocabulary and structures. The faculty provides massive comprehensible inputs on listening, reading, speaking and writing and trains the intermediate and advanced language learners on how to go beyond a basic knowledge of a language to become truly proficient in it. The department through its Learn a Language Programme facilitates learning of certain foreign languages like language French, German ,Spanish and so on.

BRMIIT Classrooms
BRM IIT is also equipped with well-furnished and spacious classrooms with all modern teaching aids like OHP, LCD and public address system that accommodate more than 60 students. The comfortable, airy and cool classroom environment, with all modern teaching gadgets, creates an ideal atmosphere in the Institute and enhances the concentration of students.

BRMIIT Conference Hall
The conference hall at BRM IIT is equipped with a fine quality audio/video unit with slide projectors, LCD and sound system. A number of seminars, conferences meetings and special lectures are delivered by eminent guests & visiting faculty.

BRMIIT Canteen
The professionally run canteen of BRM IIT not only provides vegetarian and non-vegetarian food suiting all palates, but has also developed into a perfect rendezvous point for all the students and faculty. Strict hygiene is maintained in food preparation. Besides the scrumptious food, canteen is the place to unwind or take a break after a hectic class session.

BRMIIT Hostel Accommodation
At present, temporary accommodation is available for both men and women students and consists of modern, furnished rooms with independent bathroom/toilet facilities. All efforts are made to ensure that hostel premises are safe and secure. Work for establishing hostel building inside the campus is already on and Institute’s ladies and gents hostel would be completed within a very short time.

BRMIIT Transportation
The institute has own buses for easy and comfortable to & fro transportation of students from different parts of Bhubanesear City to the campus.

BRMIIT Security
Strict security in the Institute’s campus and hostel is maintained. All efforts are made to follow safety measures by employing professional security personnel in the campus and inculcating discipline among the students. A Security Officer appointed permanently supervises the work f security personnel deployed.

BRMIIT Health Care Centre
BRM IIT houses an ultra modern health care centre within its premises with qualified medical staff and ambulance. As the institute cares for the well being of the students and staff regular health check up for all is mandatory at BRM IIT.

BRMIIT Recreation
Relaxation and recreation are prerequisites of a healthy and active mind. Hence we believe in creating ample opportunities for students to enjoy and relax after hectic studying. While the Term-end bashes are the most waited events for students, celebration of special days like Rose Day, Jeans Day, Valentine’s Day also bring in much needed change in the routine life. Moreover, celebration of all major festivals and occasions like Christmas, Holi, Diwali, Id, New Year’s Eve and birthdays and wedding anniversaries of all students and faculty create a unique bonding among the students and the teachers. Other socials, picnics/excursions, movie trips etc also refresh the students to take on another grueling day.

Along with its highly regarded academic ambience, BRMIIT’s location makes for a unique educational experience. Located far away from the madding crowd and in between the Cuttack and Bhubaneswar at the river bank of ‘Kuakhai’, adjacent to National Highway NH-5, the BRMIIT’s 5.00-acre campus is a resident’s delight. Situated at the center of an educational belt the campus with its peaceful and healthy environment is well linked by road. As I walk along Barrister Ranjit Mohanty Marg through the powerful scenic beauty of fresh green unchanging natural surrounding, I can readily feel a delightful harmony and rich blending of mysterious strength and spontaneous grace. The very high degree fusion of calm and persuasive Kuakhai River and heart stirring light upon landscapes reveal an inspiration rich to overflowing.

In fact what interest and please me is the riveting infrastructure and the dedicated, committed and experienced faculty making this institute a temple of learning for the budding technocrats. Undoubtedly, the infrastructure of the College has been developed to provide a good environment for pursuing professional courses like engineering, management, computer application and others. The faculty in the college is one of the best in its class.

BRMIIT is located in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Orissa, in a vast area on the bank of Kuakhai River just within a walking distance from NH-5 on Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Road, a region known for its rugged beauty and temperate climate.

BRMIIT combines an ambitious, challenging academic program and a rich range of extracurricular activities within a secular value framework that draws on a variety of cultures and prepares students for global citizenship.

Established in the year 2008, as a nodal arm of BRM Educational Trust and inspired by the noble ideals and principles of the founder late Barrister Ranjit Mohanty, the Institute has been designed to play a distinct role in engineering education by providing education, research, training and consulting facilities to the students. The Institute has been on its way to provide technical education within a modern educational environment and strong academic staff. The Barrister Ranjit Mohanty (BRM) Trust ensures the quality of various programmes. It also offers the students a platform to imbibe different aspects of Engineering such as theoretical, procedural, and applied and many more.

Spread over an area of 12 acres, the Institute's own campus has been developed in the scenic ambience of Kuakhai River. The 4- year full time Engineering programme is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), one of the most renowned universities in India. The institute reflects a positive stride in the direction of academic excellence. Since its inception and foundation, BRMIIT has constantly been intending to assumed pivotal role in the reconstruction, modernization, and administration of the society. The efforts and expertise of BRMIIT graduates would be major contributors in the planning and construction of India's infrastructure. BRMIIT is an institution which would define and continue to update methods of engineering and architecture in India.

The courses offered by BRMIIT are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) The Institute offers engineering courses in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, and Computer Science & IT Engineering. Unique in its structure, methods and goals, the Institute is strongly rooted in a philosophy of training and research that emphasizes the intimate relationships between knowledge and its application and seeks to promote the creation of an ideal society.
